We’re Olivia & Lindsay
We first crossed paths working together at Bloom & Wild 8 years ago, and we’ve been friends ever since. Our shared passion for exceptional gifting, combined with years of experience at some of the UK’s most exciting DTC startups, inspired us to launch Unboxed. Our aim is to share everything we’ve learnt about creating unforgettable gifting experiences to help brands grow in a sustainable, scaleable and distinctive way.
Olivia Harvey
With a decade in fast-growing DTC start-ups, I've covered the whole customer journey – from product development and onsite merchandising to marketing and operations.
I love solving customer problems in fun and innovative ways, creating unique products and experiences that genuinely meet their needs.
I started at graze.com, seeing how great customer experiences drive growth. At Bloom & Wild, as their 6th employee, I helped turn the Letterbox Flowers idea into a household name. After eight years, I shifted to consultancy and mentorship to share my knowledge with other ambitious brands.
Lindsay Newell
I have worked across all marketing functions, from acquisition marketing to CRM, with over 14 years of experience in start-up and scale-up brands.
I joined Bloom & Wild as employee thirty-something and helped it grow to over 400. As their Head of UK Marketing, I specialised in affiliates, partnerships, and offline marketing. I then moved to the world of cakes at Cutter & Squidge, where I led marketing and brand. In just 14 months, I learned more than in my entire 14-year career, expanding into brand positioning, trading, and range development.
I have a talent for matchmaking brands and a passion for exciting emerging brands – my current favourite is Magic Molecules.
